About Us
EquiMedic USA is the corporate creation of mother and daughters team Sharon Baker, Delaney Selander and Kelsey Baker. This team carries
on a multi-generational family tradition of equine involvement
that tracks across this great country since early family members
came to the United States from Europe.
Company founder, Sharon Baker, has enjoyed a professional life time of involvement in the livestock production, and health fields. She was professionally involved with the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University, her alma mater, and eventually as the Marketing Director of a nationally based genetics company owned by a veterinary group. Baker has served the livestock and equine industries in Minnesota for eight years as a Governor appointee to the Minnesota State Board of Animal Health; the last two as its President.

Delaney Selander is the mother of three little ones and wife to husband Brent, who operates a home based fabrication business. With a degree in Accounting, Delaney operates the Business Office for EquiMedic USA. She is responsible for the numbers, the company inventory, the web site shopping cart functioning and the day to day business transactions of EquiMedic USA. The final production and shipping of our orders is the responsibility of this branch of the family.
Baker conceived
EquiMedic USA as a means of helping equine owners to be better
prepared to care for their equine partners in times of emergency,
sickness, injury, health challenges and wound care; no matter
where they might be when that emergency might occur. EquiMedic
USA offers best care kits to help the horse owner to quickly
care for emergency needs until an equine practitioner can take
over the primary care.

Truly a family effort, Baker’s brother, noted Equine Practitioner, Dr. Richard K. Norton, DVM, of Lincoln, NE, is also involved with EquiMedic USA as a technical consultant. Dr. Norton maintains an active equine practice in eastern Nebraska while staying involved with his three daughters livestock and horse projects at home.

Baker's youngest offspring are very active rodeo participants, keeping the entire family involved and on the rodeo road to collegiate and professional rodeos.
Son Bryce Baker concluded his collegiate rodeo career with graduation from South Dakota State University, and maintains a growing professional rodeo career specializing in Steer Wrestling. Bryce works for the South Dakota Association of Conservation Districts. He recently married his long time sweet heart, Danci Anderson, also an SDSU graduate and Miss Rodeo South Dakota 2003. She is a loan officer for Farm Credit Services and they live in central South Dakota. |
